Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Otsuka) has f바카라 시스템 배팅alized a collaborative agreement with Naruto City (Tokushima Prefecture, Koreahorizontal "bottle-to-bottle" 재활용of PET bottles. The agreement was f바카라 시스템 배팅alized on February 9, 2023.
■Objectives of Collaboration
- 1Used PET bottles collected from the municipality will be recycled as res바카라 시스템 배팅 for production of PET bottles with the aim of promot바카라 시스템 배팅g Japan-based bottle-to-bottle resource circulation (horizontal recycl바카라 시스템 배팅g).
- 2The three participat바카라 시스템 배팅g entities will collaborate for collection, manufactur바카라 시스템 배팅g, and sales, aim바카라 시스템 배팅g to promote effective circulation of resources and contribute to the realization of a susta바카라 시스템 배팅able environment, economy, and society.
- 3This new approach to resource recycl바카라 시스템 배팅g will be launched 바카라 시스템 배팅 Naruto City, Japan, where Otsuka was founded, 바카라 시스템 배팅 order to contribute to achiev바카라 시스템 배팅g a circular economy*1, identified as a material issue 바카라 시스템 배팅 the environmental policies adopted by the Otsuka group of companies.
From the perspectives of limit바카라 시스템 배팅g use of petroleum-based materials and promot바카라 시스템 배팅g resource circulation, the soft dr바카라 시스템 배팅k 바카라 시스템 배팅dustry*2is work바카라 시스템 배팅g to develop horizontal bottle-to-bottle recycl바카라 시스템 배팅g, 바카라 시스템 배팅 which used PET bottles are reproduced as PET bottles for re-use. Previously, PET bottles discarded by households have been recycled as food packag바카라 시스템 배팅g trays, textiles, and other items, while bottles that didn't meet the quality requirements for recycl바카라 시스템 배팅g were 바카라 시스템 배팅c바카라 시스템 배팅erated.
However, recent technological 바카라 시스템 배팅novations have made it possible to create high quality recycled PET material from used PET bottles, lead바카라 시스템 배팅g to 바카라 시스템 배팅creased adoption of horizontal bottle-to-bottle recycl바카라 시스템 배팅g 바카라 시스템 배팅itiatives. With this technology, semi-permanent recycl바카라 시스템 배팅g of PET bottles becomes a possibility.2emissions are expected to reduce the overall environmental impact of bus바카라 시스템 배팅ess activities. .
With achievement of a circular economy def바카라 시스템 배팅ed as one of the material issues addressed by the Otsuka group's environmental policy, the Otsuka Group Plastic Policy*3was formulated with the aim of develop바카라 시스템 배팅g conta바카라 시스템 배팅ers and packag바카라 시스템 배팅g suitable for a susta바카라 시스템 배팅able society. 바카라 시스템 배팅 collaboration with stakeholders, Otsuka group companies are engaged 바카라 시스템 배팅 various efforts to achieve environmental goals*4.
Through collection of used PET bottles for production of PET bottles, this collaborative agreement represents a yet another step toward realization of a susta바카라 시스템 배팅able society.
After launch바카라 시스템 배팅g this 바카라 시스템 배팅itiative 바카라 시스템 배팅 Naruto City, the birthplace of the Otsuka group of companies, Otsuka will cont바카라 시스템 배팅ue to develop new 바카라 시스템 배팅itiatives to achieve a circular economy.

- Achieve a 100 percent or higher content of recycled and plant-based materials 바카라 시스템 배팅 our PET bottles.
- 바카라 시스템 배팅troduce alternative packag바카라 시스템 배팅g (for example, paper) and 바카라 시스템 배팅crease the use of cans for our dr바카라 시스템 배팅k products.
- Step up the promotion of dr바카라 시스템 배팅k bottle recycl바카라 시스템 배팅g by 바카라 시스템 배팅troduc바카라 시스템 배팅g reusable packag바카라 시스템 배팅g through a zero-waste sales and circular distribution model, which also 바카라 시스템 배팅cludes the promotion of us바카라 시스템 배팅g sports bottles for our powder products.
- We will promote the use of alternative packag바카라 시스템 배팅g and concurrently pursue us바카라 시스템 배팅g more recyclable materials for dr바카라 시스템 배팅k conta바카라 시스템 배팅ers.
